The
Venezuelan Andes
offer some of the best soaring conditions for paragliding
in the world. We offer tandem flights and basic flying
instruction for novice license. Soaring from Tierra Negra
near Las Gonzales village (5,249 feet) and thermal and
cross-country from La Trampa hamlet. Head to La Aguada
(11,325 feet) or Loma Redonda (13,271 feet) stations for
unique thermal, dereliction and tandem flights using the
world’s highest and longest cable car system and affording
spectacular views of the city of Merida and the surrounding
valleys.
