Trip Reservation Process:

Step 1 Check us out!
Check out our website with our sample itineraries that can be booked as-is or customized by one of our trip consultants with your interests highlighted. Our Trip Consultants have first hand experience of most destinations we cover, and will help plan a trip that is right for you. This process may be accomplished via email, fax or regular mail.

Step 2 Book your Trip.
Once you and your Trip Consultant have created an itinerary that suits your needs, we will make formal reservations for you.

Please note that a proposed itinerary is based on rates currently available to us, and subject to availability and/or local price fluctuations beyond our control. Once the tour has been confirmed by us you will receive an invoice for the confirmed services, stating payment terms.

Typically for reservations made more than 60 days prior to departure, a deposit of $250 per person is required to hold your reservation. Deposit may be charged on the following credit cards: Discover, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. If we have arranged for your international air, additional payment may be required to guarantee your reservation.

At the time we receive your deposit, we should also receive your completed Personal Data Form, which includes the optional trip cancellation and protection, which you must either accept or decline. You must read and understand our terms and conditions and trip cancellation policy before signing up for a trip.

Please note that for last-minute or peak travel bookings, we may require a deposit or full payment before a trip is confirmed. If services offered cannot be confirmed, you will be offered an alternative itinerary or a full refund.

Final payment is due 60 days prior to your departure.

Step 3 Prepare.
Once we have received your deposit, we will mail your itinerary, invoice, Pre-Departure Information, brochures, reading lists, and other information. As you prepare for your trip you may call us at 1.800.999.0558 or email your trip consultant with any questions. For your convenience, we offer a currency converter to see what exchange rates await you and a printable cheat sheet for you to take with you on your trip.

Step 4 Final Documents.
Once your final payment has been received your final documents will be assembled and sent out to you via express delivery. Your final documents will include your travel vouchers, plane tickets, final (updated) itinerary, contact information including hotel and local operator phone numbers and other updated information about your trip. 

Step 5 Travel.
