Day
1: Buenos Aires
Airport reception and transfer to your hotel. Overnight
accommodations at the Hotel Claridge. Located steps away
from the theatre and shopping districts, the Hotel
Claridge offers rooms with cable TV, minibars, international
direct-dial telephones and laundry service.
Day
2: Buenos Aires - Mendoza
Fly to Mendoza. Accommodations at Puente del Inca Hostel,
located at 8,500 feet above sea level. The rest of the day
will be spent acclimating to the altitude, and preparing
for the upcoming adventure. (B,L,D)
Day
3: Confluencia
Today the trek begins. Surrounded by huge snow-capped peaks
on all sides, you'll slowly ascend to the Confluencia base
camp, located at 10,560 feet, where you will settle your
camp. The rest of the day may be spent hiking around the
camp and marvelling at the panoramic views of the Horcones
Superior and Horcones Inferior, which meet way below. (B,L,D)

4: Confluencia
The Horcones glacier will come into view. Suddenly you'll
come to the impressive south wall of Aconcagua--a 10,000
foot wall of vertical rock! As you marvel at the wall, you'll
also see huge hanging glaciers and avalanches tumbling down
the mountain. (B,L,D)

5: Puente Del Inca
You'll set off early this morning for your return journey.
The pace will be moderate as you work your way back to Horcones
Lake, located a the foot of Aconcagua. Lunch will be served
at this marvellous place, and you'll continue to Puente
del Inca for dinner. (B,L,D)
Day
6: Mendoza
On the final return trip to Mendoza, you'll stop at the
Mendoza River for a morning white-water rafting session.
Overnight at a local hotel. Dinner is on your own tonight.

7: Mendoza - Buenos Aires - Int'l Departure
Transfer to the Mendoza airport for your flight to Buenos
Aires. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to
the international airport for your departing flight. (B)
