Alvear Palace Hotel , Buenos Aires

Opened in 1932, the Alvear Palace is located in Recoleta, at the heart of the most refined quarter in Buenos Aires, and minutes from the tourist sights. Imposing architecture and decoration distinguish the Alvear truly unique, with a committed and dynamic staff making the hotel a second home to it's distiguished guests.

The hotel has 80 palace rooms and 120 suites. Banquet facilities for events are available. Completely refurbished during the last few years, the Alvear maintains its characteristic charm combined with traditional hospitality and the most advanced technology.

Luxurious style with fresh fruit baskets, flower arrangements, Frette linen sheets, and marble bathrooms are standard. An english newspaper is delivered to rooms daily and the service by the attentive staff is impeccable.

Included is a buffet breakfast at the L'Orangarie. Also known for it's lavish tea's the room is bright and sunny with flowers and plants that create a garden setting. La Bourgogne serves up French and International Cuisine or for an intimate experience dine in La Cave, a converted wine cellar. Both restaurants have an impressive list of French, Italian, Argentinian, and Chilean wines.

A personal butler is available to every guest with a complementary pressing of 2 items of clothing. A cellular telephone and fax machine will be provided upon request. For guest's convenience a there is a two line phone in every room with a Louis XIII desk.
