Day 1: Santiago de Chile
Airport reception and transfer to your hotel. Accommodations at the charming Hotel Orly, buffet breakfast included. This is a small, boutique style hotel which has 28 rooms. A converted mansion, the Hotel Orly is superbly situated in one of the city's more exclusive areas, Providencia. Everything you may want to see is close by - shops, restaurants, downtown, museums, banks, the cable car up the hill.

Day 2: Valparaiso and Vina del Mar
Embark on a day trip to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. Vina del Mar, often called the Garden City. The summer resort or Vina del Mar features a famed gambling Casino (open throughout the year), and the beaches of Salinas, Renaca, Montemar, Los Lilenes and Concon along a coastal road of impressive beauty. At the end of the day return to Santiago. Overnight at the Hotel Orly.(B)

Day 3: Santiago - Puerto Montt - Ensenada
Hotel pickup and transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Montt. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the Yan Kee Way Lodge.

Accommodations at Yan Kee Way Lodge in a bungalow suite with the All-Inclusive Program. Beautiful local woods, black lava encrustations and old-world style craftsmanship are found throughout the newly constructed lodge. Osorno volcano peers over the horizon from the front of the lodge.

Access to your bungalow is by way of a meandering river rock path through the woods. The doors and furniture are hand carved from Chilean hardwoods. The bedroom, on the second level, has goose down comforters, and quality mattresses. There is a spacious living room and full bath with separate dressing room and Jacuzzi. Central heating makes the bungalow cozy on the chilly evenings. All meals and guided excursions (except fishing) included. (B,L,D)

Days 4-6: Lakes District
Choose from a variety of excursions. Termas de Calloa Trekking, Half-day Petrohue River Kayaking, Calbuco Volcano Horseback Riding, Full-day or Half-day Osorno Volcano Trekking, Petrohue River Rafting, Half-day El Leon Canyoning, Full-day Trekking Paso de Los Pumas, Half-day Osorno Volcano Mountain Biking. Day 7: Puerto Montt - Santiago - San Pedro de Atacama
Fly to Santiago and connect to San Pedro de Atacama. Transfer to the Hotel Terrantai. Set off through the eerie Moon Valley to San Pedro de Atacama, a colorful village at 6,600 feet. Surrounded by a green oasis, San Pedro retains its colonial charm of narrow streets and has a church dating back to 1577. The Atacama Desert, running over 600 miles between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains, is one of the driest regions on earth. It is an incredible world of soaring volcanoes, stark lava fields, and huge rolling trackless dunes. (B,D)

Days 8-10: Atacama Desert
While at Terrantai, you can choose daily guided excursions from the following menu: Salt Lake of Atacama and the village of Toconao, Archaeological trekking in the Moon Valley, Visit to Chuquicamata mine, Excursion to the superior Loa river villages of Chiu-Chiu and Lasana, Full-day visit to the El Tatio Geyser geothermal field, Excursion to the Green Lagoon/Bolivia, Ethnic Tour, Salt Lake of Atacama and the village of Toconao, and many more. Day 11: Atacama - Calama - Santiago - Int'l Departure
After breakfast you will transfer back to the Calama airport. Check in for your flight to Santiago. Upon arrival, proceed to the international terminal for your flight home. (B)
