Rio Figuroa is only a few paces from your cabin. The area
is being protected by the lodge in conjunction with a
national protection agency CONAF.
El
Patagon comfortably accommodates eight guests in four
separate cabins. Each cabin has a full bath with shower,
built-in closets and a wood burning stove. For those who
chose a rustic atmosphere, kerosene lanterns will be provided
in lieu of electricity.
In
the middle of the compound is a fogon, dining room and
cook station. A fogon is an eight sided structure, typical
in Chile, where meals are sometimes served and fishing
tales are always available. A wood fire hot tub and sauna
overlooking the Figuroa river is available in the evenings.
Various
types of water, present many different species of fish.
You can literally choose a different type of water and
fishing style each and everyday. The possibilities are
limited only by the amount of time you have to spend.
