M/V Skorpios III, Patagonia
The
Skorpios III Sea Cruise operates between the city of Puerto
Montt, 1000km to the south of Chile's capital Santiago,
and the San Rafael Lagoon, like it's sister ship Skorpios
II. It is a fascinating six day voyage, sailing between
numerous islands and rocks, which make up Southern Chile's
legendary network of channels, on board the exclusive and
modern passenger Motor Vessel Skorpios III.
Built
in the Skorpios shipyards in 1994 and 1995, she has 46 double
cabins, Junior and Master suites, with room for 92 passengers
based on double occupancy and 125 passengers with the addition
of beds. The cabins are equipped with a refrigerator, stereo,
television, closed circuit music, safe deposit box, and
private bathroom with deluxe fixtures. The elegant dining
room seats 125 passengers, and serves very good international
and Chilean cuisine with an emphasis on seafood and an open
bar at all times. The two bars and dining room utilize large
screen projection equipment for briefings on the days events.
