Completely
refurbished mid 1994 and now serves as a miniature cruise
ship to small numbers of international travelers on scheduled
departures and charters for up to 16 passengers. The ship
sails from the river town of Requena into remote areas
of the Upper Amazon on 2 and 6 night cruises. Passengers
travel from Iquitos and back by speedboat. Construction
of the ship was made out of steel and it has been divided
into three decks. Engine room, crew cabins and kitchen
are located on the lower deck. The ship has eight twin
air conditioned outside cabins each with private bath
and shower as well as a small air conditioned lounge on
the mid-deck. The air conditioned dining room/bar and
ample observation areas are located on the Sun deck.
