Chiclayo and the Royal Tombs of Sipan Tours

For a splendid introduction to the cultural history of the Lambayeque area, visit the Brunning Archaeological museum. Nearby is the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Sipan, where the gold of the Sipan treasure is displayed. Continue to Tucume, a spralling complex known as the "Valley of the Pyramids", (1,00 - 1,532 A.D.).

Visit the ceremonial complex of Batan Grande capital of the Lambayeque Culture, (Sican), located at the National Archaeological and Ecological Reserve of Poma. See the huge pyramids rise among the largest Algarrobo Forest, Mesquite, in Peru.
