The Holistic Spa
Granja La Limonera is located in the small and quaint
town of San Francisco de Asis, in the Aragua State, one
hour and a half drive from Caracas
and just half an hour from Maracay. A complete team of
health professionals, nutritionists, sports people and
psychologists are ready to help visitors achieve an ultimate
equilibrium of mind, body and emotions.
The
varied activities include watsu, aqua tonic and hydro
therapy sessions in the pool, holistic massages (shiatsu,
lomilomi, reflexology), geotherapy, traditional chinese
medicine, turkish and swedish baths with soft oils and
appropriate music, purification and integration ceremonies,
meditation, alpha relaxation, reiki, detoxification treatments,
morning walks and horseback
rides. The food is healthy, abundant and balanced
and the chef and his crew are prepared to offer both the
best of the Venezuelan traditional cuisine or detoxification
vegetarian fare.
The
town is known for its colonial church and many wood furniture
artisans. Tours to nearby attractions like Magdaleno,
another renowned artisan town and to the coastal towns
of Choroni,
Cata, Ocumare, to the hot springs of Las Trincheras and
San Juan de Los Morros, the Colonia Tovar and to a nearby
Ostrich farm can be arranged.
The
spa can attend a maximum of 28 persons, ensuring a personalized
attention. Rooms are ancient Andean
style and built with adobe, a bio thermal and biodegradable
material and all have private bathroom with hot water.
