Saranda's Camp is located 72 miles south of the town of
El Manteco in the Bolivar State and close to the Caroni
River, in a sector known as the Savannah of Bocon, a beautiful
place surrounded by hills, moriche palms and forests and
close to 5 different waterfalls, including one with jaspe
rock. Due to its higher elevation compared to the savannah
around, the camp enjoys a constant, refreshing breeze
and is bug free. The Kunaronda Tepui is located in front.
Aventura
Saranda's Camp is prepared to attend 12 persons only (sleeping
in hammocks) and counts with dining room, bar, shared
bathrooms, efficient solar lighting and 40m multi band
radio service.
The
access is only possible by 4WD vehicle or by a short flight
from El Manteco or Canaima.
