Camp Parakaupa
is a small lodge located a few minutes away from the famous
and scenic Canaima
Lagoon in the western sector of the Canaima National Park,
which falls you can observe from the camp along with the
surrounding tepuys and savannahs of this extraordinary
portion of Venezuela.
Camp
Parakaupa offers clean and comfortable rooms with private
bathrooms for up to 34 guests, ensuring a personalized
attention for all its visitors. A typical restaurant is
available to enjoy local dishes.
Excursions
to the Carrao River and to Angel
Falls are available as day trips and overnights, including
our flagship Angel Falls River Venture, which spends one
or two nights in hammocks or beds right in front of the
falls. Side excursions to several other nearby waterfalls
are offered, including Sapo Falls and the Canaima Lagoon
and Yuri Falls, as well as Angel Falls overflights and
full day excursions to Kavak.
