Caracas, Venezuela

Primary international gateway of Venezuela, domestic air routes hub through Caracas' main airport. Our transportation team will meet you at the international, domestic airport for transportation to your hotel or between airports and assist with tight connections. The Hilton Caracas is in the heart of the cultural center and is the close to the city sites. Set amid tropical gardens, the Tamanaco Inter-Continental Caracas offers luxurious rooms, a convenient location for business and leisure (close to the vibrant Las Mercedes neighborhood, with its many restaurants, clubs, stores and a recently open cultural center) and spectacular views of the city. The Hotel Avila was founded by Nelson Rockefeller and is surrounded by an exuberant landscape of tropical vegetation and fresh mountain air. Travelers wishing to avoid the hustle and bustle of Caracas can overnight in the tropical but elegant Hotel Olé Caribe, right in front of the Caribbean sea and just 15 minutes from the airport.

Occupying a lush mountain valley 3,000 feet above sea level and boasting a year-round average temperature of 72ºF, the capital of Venezuela has earned the very appropriate title of "City of Eternal Spring." At an elevation of 7,000 feet, El Avila Mount, a national park, towers over this cosmopolitan city and the cable car system that ascends it, makes for a good half day visit. Other half day tours highlight the museums and points of interests with a bilingual guide. A 5 million people metropolis, Caracas boasts fine international and local restaurants, theaters, museums, and an excellent subway system.
