1 Arrival to Caracas
Welcome
to Venezuela! Airport reception and transfer to the Hotel
Ole Caribe along the caribbean coast. Overnight.
Day
2 Caracas - Canaima National Park
In
the morning set off on a flight to Canaima, flying over
the massive tepuis into the remote south of Venezuela.
After a short dugout canoe ride up the Carrao River, you
will find Jungle Rudy's Ucaima Camp, ideally situated
on the banks of the river, above the Canaima Lagoon's
waterfalls and with views of three tepuis and the giant
Auyantepui in the distance. After lunch, relax and get
ready to visit Sapo Falls, a magnificent cascade that
can be crossed from one side to the other by the inside
of its water curtain. Be prepared to get wet! Accommodations
are in comfortable cabanas with private bathrooms. (L,

Day
3 Canaima - Angel Falls
After
breakfast, board a motorized dugout canoe, known as curiara,
and set off up the Carrao River. Giant tepuis loom over
the savannah and jungle below and countless waterfalls
gracefully descend the face of Auyan-tepui. Upon arrival
to Orchid Island (Isla Orquidea), lunch will be served.
Afterwards, you will reach Ratoncito (small mouse) Island,
from where you can already observe Angel Falls. A one
hour hike leads to the Laime Lookout, offering superb
views and photographic opportunities. The rest of your
day will be spent exploring this "Lost World"
on your own. Your overnight accommodations are in a rustic
but bed-equipped shelter close to Ratoncito Island. (B,

Day
4 Angel Falls - Canaima
There
is time after breakfast for the last shots to Angel Falls
before returning down river to Jungle Rudy's Ucaima Camp,
in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure (Sign for extra
excursions at the camp) (B, L, D)

5 Canaima National Park - Caracas
Fly
back to Caracas today and overnight at the Hotel Ole Caribe.

Transfer
to the airport and assistance to check into your international
flight.
