4
days and 3 nights
Starts
and finish in Santa Elena de Uairén
El
Paují and its surroundings is an area that lies
44 miles west of Santa Elena de Uairén, the frontier
town close to the Venezuela-Brazil border. It encloses
a complete world of opportunities for the tourist with
a genuine interest in nature, including birdwatching,
photography
and scientific
studies. The area is surrounded by evergreen and gallery
forests, bush and savannah and an endless number of rivers,
ravines and waterfalls
that make the area a very special place. For those who
wish a little more of adventure, it is a beautiful place
for biking
and for several days' excursions to the jungle
around.
