Day 1: US - Lima
Arrival to Lima and transfer to the Hotel Antigua Miraflores.

Day 2: Lima - Cuzco
Transfer to airport for departure to Cuzco. Airport reception in Cuzco and transfer to your hotel, the Posada del Inca Hotel. Set off on an afternoon tour of Cuzco and the nearby Inca ruins.

Day 3: Pisac & Ollantaytambo
This morning depart with your guide for a full-day excursion to the village and ruins of Pisac located 20 miles from Cuzco. After exploring the ruins you will visit a colorful Indian market where you'll be able to trade with locals for a variety of handicrafts. Lunch will be served in Urubamba, followed by a tour of the town and fortress of Ollantaytambo located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. (B,L)

Day 4: Cuzco - Machu Picchu
Early morning hotel pick-up and transfer to the train station where you'll set off on a scenic 4-hour trip through the Urubamba Valley, followed by a 20-minute bus ride up to the breathtaking Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu. Upon arrival you'll set off with your guide to explore the walls, stairways, temples and terraces of Machu Picchu. After lunch served at the hotel, you'll be free to explore this enchanting place on your own. Overnight at the Machu Picchu Pueblo, located in Aguas Caliente. (B,L)

Day 5: Machu Picchu - Cuzco
Enjoy a full morning visit to the citadel. In the afternoon, return to Cuzco by train, where you'll be met and transferred back to your hotel, the Posada del Inca Hotel. (B)

Day 6: Cuzco - Manu Lodge
Hotel pick-up and transfer to the Cuzco airport for a 30-minute twin-engine flight to the Boca Manu airstrip. Upon arrival in Boca Manu, you'll transfer to motorized dugout canoes. Upon arrival after a 4-hour ride, staff members will carry your luggage the 600 yards to the Juarez oxbow lake. From there, guides will paddle a small catamaran to the exclusive and secluded 25-bed Manu Lodge. (L,D)

Day 7: Manu Cloudforest
While at Manu Lodge you will have plenty of opportunities to witness this plethora flora and fauna. Your days here are filled with excursions led by local and naturalist guides to explore the surrounding and reserve and learn more about the fascinating eco-system within the biosphere. You may also explore the nearby trails as it "rains" Squirrel Monkeys! Each evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Manu Cloud Forest
Dawn visits to the lookouts are the most rewarding, with frequent appearances by several species of primates and birds. There will be an afternoon boat excursion to a spectacular macaw and parrot roosting and nesting site.

Day 9: Manu - Cuzco
This morning, you will return by boat to the Boca Manu airstrip, where you'll board your return flight to Cuzco. Transfer to the Posada del Inca Hotel. (B)

Day 10: Cuzco – Lima - US
Hotel pick-up and transfer to the Cuzco airport. Check in to depart for Lima. Upon arrival in Lima change planes for your return flight to the US.
