Day 01 San Pedro Sula
You will be met at the San Pedro Sula international Airport and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the Gran Hotel Sula (or similar), breakfast included.

Day 02 San Pedro Sula – Los Naranjos – Tegucigalpa – Valle de Angeles – Santa Lucía
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Tegucigalpa visiting Los Naranjos Archaeological Site at the Yojoa Lake. Lunch is included. In the afternoon, you will visit the Valle de Angeles and Santa Lucia. Overnight at the Hotel Honduras Maya (or similar), breakfast included. (B,L)

Day 03 Tegucigalpa – Comayagua – La Esperanza
Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to the colonial town of Comayagua, which is located only 37 km north of Tegucigalpa on the main highway to San Pedro Sula. Among the monuments that you may visit in this town are: the Cathedral, the church of Las Mercedes and the Museum of Comayagua that offers a variety of artifacts dating from colonial times. This city was the capital of the country from 1542 until 1888. In the afternoon, transfer to the town of La Esperanza. Overnight at the Hotel Casa del Arrollo, breakfast included. (B,L)

Day 04 La Esperanza
After breakfast, you will have the whole day to explore La Esperanza. La Esperanza is located about 1,600 meters above sea level. Due to this altitude the climate is very cool, thus making it the ideal place for growing vegetables and fruits. La Esperanza is one of the few places in Honduras where the culture of the Lencas is still alive. You will have time enough to get to know their way of living and to observe how they produce their typical clothing. Today, you will also visit la Casa de la Cultura and a beautiful Bosque Enano (forest with small trees). Overnight at the Hotel Casa del Arrollo, breakfast included. (B,L)

Day 05 Gracias – Santa Rosa de Copán
After breakfast you will depart La Esperanza for Gracias. Gracias was founded in 1536 and its colonial architecture and charm converts it into a very special place. Gracias was declared seat of the Audiencia de los Confines in April 1544, thus converting it into the capital of Central America and Honduras during this period of time. You will visit its colonial churches and afterwards, you will have lunch at a local restaurant called Guancascos, from where you will have a splendid view of the town. In the afternoon, transfer to Santa Rosa de Copán where you will visit its church. Overnight at the Hotel Elvir, breakfast included. (B,L)

Day 06 El Puente - Copan
In the morning after having breakfast, you will visit a factory where cigars are produced. Here the whole process of producing cigars can be observed. Afterwards, you will go on towards Copán. On our way, you will visit an archaeological site called El Puente. There, you will also visit its interesting museum. On the way to Copán Ruins you will stop at the Finca Santa Isabel, a coffee plantation. Lunch will be served there and afterward, you will hike its trails and learn about the process of making coffee, from the plant nursery to the last processing of the coffee beans. In the afternoon, you will leave this peaceful place towards Copán Ruins. Overnight in Hotel Marina Copán (or similar), breakfast included - 2 nights. (B,L)

Day 07 Copan
After breakfast, you will visit the Main Archaeological Site, the Sculpture Museum and Las Sepulturas, the only restored residential area. In the afternoon, you will have the choice between two tours: horseback riding or the Butterfly Farm. (B,L)

Day 08 Copan - Tela
After breakfast, you will visit the Macaw Mountain Bird Park near Copán where you will have lunch. After lunch (included), you will go on towards Tela. En route, you will visit the Guamilito Local Market. Overnight at the Hotel Villas Telamar, breakfast included. (B,L)

Day 09 Tela – La Ceiba
In the morning, you will visit the Jeannette Kawas (Punta Sal) National Park. In the afternoon, we will take you to La Ceiba. Overnight at the Lodge at Pico Bonito, breakfast included. (B,L)

Day 10 La Ceiba – San Pedro Sula/Tegucigalpa – Int’l Departure
After breakfast, you will visit the Butterfly Farm, its trails and the Snake House. Afterwards, you will transfer to the La Ceiba Airport for your flight to San Pedro Sula or Tegucigalpa. (B)
