Prepare your "sea legs" and choose an adventure!

In countries like Chile and Ecuador, some of the greatest exploratory pleasures can be found in the surrounding lakes and Ocean. Wildlife flocks to the Islands of Galapagos, and the spectacular reefs call from beneath the sea. Meanwhile, Chile provides a stark contrast by providing breath-taking glaciers and forgotten seascapes, stretching south towards Antarctica. To bring these fantastic adventures within reach, Lost World Adventures provides various opportunities to actively experience the surroundings and remain in the care of first class accommodations aboard select Cruises.

The M/Y Coral 2 is a beautiful vessel with space for 20 passengers. The Coral ventures through the Galapagos Islands and provides opportunities to see dolphins, whales, sea lions and penguins. As you continue to sail, pelicans and other various birds soar around the boat, while marine Iguana sun themselves on the hardened lava formations on Bartolome Island. There will be many chances to disembark and explore the landscapes of the isles on foot. The Coral is equipped with three decks, 6 standard cabins and two master cabins. The smaller size of this vessel allows for a more personal atmosphere, where you can enjoy fine dining, air-conditioned cabins and friendly service. We have several itineraries with the Coral 2 to choose from.

A second option in the Galapagos is the large luxury vessel known as the M/V Galapagos Explorer II. This commanding cruise ship is over 293 ft and includes 53 air-conditioned suites. Of course, the Explorer also offers a swimming pool, jacuzzi, solarium, fine dining, three bars with live music and a large conference room is available. Traveling at up to 17 knots, the Explorer allows passengers to take in more of the Galapagos in less time. Opportunities to scuba dive, snorkel, bird watch and relax on white sand beaches will follow you throughout the cruise. With truly top-notch service and first-rate comfort, the Explorer is certainly the most luxurious Vessel available in the Galapagos.

Further to the south, ancient ice formations await in a wilderness at the "end of the world". The sea cruise known as the Skorpios departs from Puerto Montt, Chile and travels south through mountains, rivers, harbors, fishing villages, and is highlighted by views of ancient icebergs in Laguna San Rafael. The Skorpios boasts 4 beautiful decks, wide corridors, bars and rooms for 150 passengers. Venture out of the boat, onto the ice and soak in the beauty of "a ballet of blue and green floating icebergs". This enchanting place is full of one of a kind views and awe-inspiring beauty.

The Mare Australis makes for a luxurious base while touring through Tierra del Fuego, the Strait of Magellan and Glacier Alley. This is an expedition cruise, and you will make excursions twice a day that involve hiking, nature tours and getting out to see beautiful landscapes not reachable by any other means. Explore coves in zodiac boats, witness sea lions, observe a huge flock of penguins and sail through the crystal clear waters of the southern tip of South America. The Australis will challenge your spirit by taking you to "one of the last unspoiled adventures on earth". The Australis adds flavor to your travels with exquisite cuisine, including king crab and oysters. With four decks, there is plenty of space to relax, dine or have fun. A highlight of the boat is the thorough library, where you are free to learn more about the rich history of Chile and Argentina and listen to lectures on Darwin's theory of evolution.

Finally, the Grigoriy Mikheev, an ice-strengthened research vessel, provides expedition cruises through the Drake Passage, the Falkland Islands and the Polar Circle of Antarctica. You will view majestic glaciers, impressive hotsprings, abandoned whaling stations, and encounter unique wildlife on your walking tours or from the zodiac boats. The cruising itineraries available in Antarctica allow for numerous photographic moments as well as observation of the various penguins that abound in the region. After a long day of exciting adventures, you will return to the ship to reflect upon the day and to relax in the ship's lounge, bar, library, and sauna while waiting for the Grigoriy Mikheev's international chefs to prepare delectable meals.
