The most visited canyon in Peru is
Colca
Canyon outside of Arequipa,
one of the deepest canyons in the world. Surround yourself
by Misti and Chachani volcanoes and in the national reserve
of Aguada Blanca where you will see vicunas and possibly
guanacos. Colca Canyon is one of the best places in South
America to see Condors at Cruz del Condor and Tapay and
if you wish a more active trip trekking
and whitewater
rafting may be arranged. Stay at the Colca
Lodge or El
Parador del Colca to stay in the region with easy
access to th towns of Yanque and Chivay.
More little known are the canyons of Sonche
and Utcubamba in the region of Chachapoyas. In our 7 night
