An amalgamation of self-development, health cooking and holistic medicine is what characterizes Aloe Spa. Thalassotherapy is available in La Samanna de Margarita Hotel & Thalasso. Fully licensed by Thalgo Cosmetic (Paris), this is the only sea water spa in Venezuela, offering a broad range of treatments that include pressotherapy, Scottish shower, vibrosauna, aqua gym, analytic pool, affusion shower, balneotherapy, hamman (Turkish bath), massages, hand and foot baths, algae body wrap and facials. Also located on Margarita, Venezuela’s biggest island, the Hesperia Isla Margarita Golf, Spa & Beach Resort has a European spa with medical service, massages, dieticians, Jacuzzi, aerobics and body building rooms, beauty parlor and hairdressers.

In the Andes, the Hosteria & Spa La Sevillana offers body exfoliation, steam bath with hydro massage, clay treatments, therapeutical massage and aroma therapy, just to name a few, in a very nice compound in the suburbs of Merida. Aromatic and floral baths, hydrotherapy with spring water, music, chrome and crystal therapy, shiatsu massage and nutrition based on natural, chemical-free ingredients produced in the area are available in El Tao Ecological Guesthouse & Spa, two hours from Merida in the valley of La Azulita.

The hot springs of Las Trincheras are recommended for painful joints, chronicle rheumatism and neurological disorders. Discovered by Alexander Von Humboldt in 1800, the center features bubble and hydro massage bathing areas, but it is also possible to bath directly in the thermal fountains. There is also mud massages, wet massages, sauna, cosmetology and reiki.

The Golden Rainbow Maremares Resort & Spa, located in Puerto La Cruz, offers a full gym, massages, taebo, spinning, yoga, tai chi, a exercising pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, mud therapy, facials and sea algae treatments. Further east, in the Mochima National Park, the Villa Majagual guesthouse offers massages, lymphatic drainage, sea mud therapy, body and face exfoliation, paraffin baths and reflexology.
